5Health is now public
Our two apps are in beta and the open platform behind them is in production. Here is what we built — and how you can look inside.
5Health is an open-source healthcare initiative, built in public. Today the website is live, both apps are in beta, and the platform they run on is in production.
What is inside
NeuroChecker guides patients through short neurological function tests at home and turns the movement into objective numbers. Medical Cockpit lets clinicians review those results remotely. The 5Health Platform is the open, standards-based backend that connects them.
How we build
Everything is open source, hosted in the EU, and built on open standards — no proprietary formats and no vendor lock-in. Two kinds of AI help along the way: one measures movement from an ordinary phone video, and Nema, an assistant that runs on the patient's own phone, helps organise the day.
Still early
We are early-stage and make no clinical or certification claims. What we have is working, public code — read it, try the apps, and tell us what you think.
